Every Saturday we’ve been walking into a wedding that puts us on Cloud 9 with its epic atmosphere and excitement! We’ve been looking forward to Landyn and Chris’ wedding for months, especially after connecting with them in Savannah for their dreamy engagement session last fall! These two are top-notch and so easy to love. From their personalities to the vision they had for their day, our time with them is filled with the sweetest memories.
And speaking of sweet memories, this wedding day is going to forever be a favorite! Joel and I met at Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, which is a gorgeous historic stone hotel resting on top of a beautiful mountain. The university and hotel grounds in Sewanee, TN reminded us so much of our beloved Covenant, which just made this day even more fun for us. So besides a jaw-dropping venue and one of the best couples ever, the vendor team absolutely rocked every detail of this day. I can’t say enough joyful things about every single one of them!
Some of My Favorite Details
I think I could easily list them all, but here are a few that really stood out as top favorites!
Landyn and Chris’ dog Hooch not only had his own mini photo session with the bride and groom, but his cute face made the matchbox wedding favors! I love incorporating details that are extra meaningful and unique to a couple. Things like a beautiful bracelet Chris gifted to his bride – so pretty!
I loved the moss green color scheme! The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful and matched the simple outdoor elegance so perfectly. The florals were AMAZING! I’ve always loved Anna and her work, and she exactly matched the vision for this day. The florals were perfection and everyone agreed on that.
We’re all still talking about the band. Perfect 10 Band traveled in from Atlanta, and they completely won us over with their talent, professionalism, and technical details. Top-notch, guys. You were amazing.
Having a private bride and groom dance just before the Grand Exit is a trend that I’m loving for so many reasons!! That will always be a favorite wedding day moment.

I can’t even put into words how much I truly loved this wedding. Every single detail was intentional and special. I loved this couple and their families so much, and the entire vendor team made everything come together perfectly! The photos are gorgeous, as always!
