This spring has given us some of the most exciting pre-wedding Friday night tornado watches and windy Saturday wedding days. It may have been a crazy windy day, but the sun and the fun were both out in full force! Siobhan and Brendan celebrated their wedding and reception at Westminster Presbyterian Church here in Huntsville. Best way to welcome April!

We’ve known Siobhan and her family for several years – ever since the first day they officially moved here to Huntsville. Watching Siobhan and Brendan’s story unfold made this wedding extra fun for us to photograph. I remember clicking over to Brendan’s Facebook profile when Siobhan first posted a picture with him. “Hmm. They look awfully happy!” Fast forward to the excitement of an engagement announcement and plans for a wedding.

Here we are scrolling through the wedding pictures, and we couldn’t be happier for Siobhan and Brendan! They both have a love for the Lord and for serving others. Plus a love for coffee, which has created some fun coffee shop comparison conversations with them.

A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details

Siobhan, her mom Megan, and their support team pulled together this super sweet DIY wedding day. One of my favorite details was their super fun brunch reception display. Megan is the talent behind Maker’s Dozen Granola, so a yogurt/granola bar, scones, and her maple cinnamon rolls were a must. She also created an amazing charcuterie table.

And of course, there was the coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar and an entire table display of Bigfoot Little Donuts. Yep, it was a fun early evening reception.

Siobhan’s veil was amazing! The wind made veil portraits a little tricky, but it was 100% worth it. The lace detail was beautiful.

Josiah was a guest at this wedding, and the huge smile on his face when he ran into the doors and straight into Joel’s arms for a hug is such a sweet memory. Scroll down about halfway through to find one of my all-time favorite smiles. You’ll know it when you see it!
