Oh, I love a bridal session! A girl never feels quite as much like a princess as she does on her wedding day. And if you’re like most of us, it’s so hard to wait until the wedding day to wear your dress for real. Enter the bridal session, an evening of being treated like the royalty you are and fulfilling the dream of testing out your dress. With golden hour light, the location of your choice, and the glamorous feeling of perfect hair and makeup, it’s a dreamy evening.

We met Mary in one of our favorite bridal session spots in the Twickenham district of downtown Huntsville. I love the romantic tree-lined alleys and stonework bordering a gravel walk. It’s quiet and out of the way, which helps keep the atmosphere peaceful and relaxed.

Mary is so fun. She twirled and spun with the best of them, yet perfectly eased her way into a romanticly serene over-the-shoulder glance. She kept us smiling always, and we all had a blast. Late November brought us a little bit of warmth in the remaining color, juxtaposed with boldly green southern trees that don’t give into the winter easily. The golden light showed off for us!
