December was a little extra special this year because we had TWO Christmas weddings! Kayla and Andrew’s red and gold wedding celebration at Burritt on the Mountain was the perfect start to our Christmas wedding season.
I love that these two met in kindergarten. It’s such a fun story! Now, many years later, Kayla and Andrew are husband and wife!
We met them for an engagement session earlier this year, and ever since we’ve been totally smitten with Kayla and Andrew. Their genuine kindness, our mutual love for Chattanooga and brownies, and Andrew’s joyful grin never fail to put a smile on our faces. We share a lot in common with them and we could talk for hours about all of our favorite things!
And so when their wedding day arrived, we couldn’t be more excited for this sweet couple. The forecast had been calling for rain ALL day long, but….we got a last minute gift of sunshine peeking through the clouds! Kayla and Andrew incorporated rich reds and seasonal golds into their wedding day color palette. It was so perfect for a Christmas wedding!
Kayla and Andrew pulled together a great team of vendors for their day! Burritt on the Mountain is a magical place and one of our favorite venues. Lori and her team did an incredible job on hair and makeup, and Kayla’s dress from Diane’s Formal Affair was perfect! Working with Woodnote and Winslow Davis is always a genuine pleasure. Simpson’s Florist did an outstanding job with the florals, as always, and we’re really thankful for our friend Ais who came along to help us out that day! Bubba’s Silver Spoon, Dreamcakes Bakery, and Truth Bomb Entertainment created a fun reception for everyone to enjoy!
