We’ve got something totally different for you on the blog today, and we’re excited to share this!!

During our trip to Italy in September, we met up with Giovanna Aprili in Verona for a portrait session of our own! She was so sweet about working with our whirlwind travel schedule. We’re thankful for her and her husband! We had just arrived in a brand new city a couple hours before, and they picked us up at our AirBnB to take us into the city center for our session.

And if you’ve ever driven in an Italian city center, you know what a gift that was.

As we talked with Giovanna before our trip, we described our favorite style of location. She came up with the best recommendations! We also know how tricky it is to have a session on Saturday night in the middle of a busy city, and she found so many great places to dodge the crowd.

I was 5 months pregnant on this trip, and Baby Palmer loved his first official photo shoot! ;) I had a teeny tiny little baby bump!

These pictures are priceless memories! Verona also happened to end up being one of our favorite Italian cities, so the memories are even sweeter. Thank you so much for capturing these for us, Giovanna!
