Our story with Anna & Graham goes way back to more than a year ago at one of our favorite coffee shops in Florence. Anna walked up, gave us a huge hug, and told us that she couldn’t believe she was finally getting to meet us in real life.
Their New Year’s Eve engagement session was cooooold, but the memories are pretty incredible. It was such a great time of getting to know them, hear their story, and wrapping up in a special quilt! :) You can see some of our favorite pictures from their session here!
And since that day, Anna and Graham’s friendship has become even sweeter to us. They exemplify a beautiful, godly relationship that serves others through their gifts – whether that’s Graham’s love for singing, Anna serving many people with her nursing skills, mentoring kids in the youth group, or just sending ending their emails with “has anyone told you today how awesome you are?”
And that is just how their entire wedding day went! People serving others well, joy pouring out everywhere we turned, and seeing Anna and Graham loved by so many people. Their impact has been great, and you could see it woven through the day.
One of my favorite wedding details was a handkerchief belonging to Anna’s grandpa that was wrapped up in her bouquet. We had the privilege of meeting this sweet grandpa a few months before they lost him, and seeing Anna holding this memory in her hands as she walked down the aisle was really special.
After their joyful First Look, portraits with one of the most amazing bridal parties, family prayer during the ceremony, and an adorable Just Married Moment, we all headed over the the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum for Anna & Graham to celebrate with their guests.
There were lots of best parts of their reception, but my tippy-top absolute favorite was when Graham surprised Anna with a song. He has an incredible voice, and her reaction still makes me smile.
