A November Recap // Joel and Amber Photography // Huntsville Wedding Photographers
What an incredible month November has been! It flew by in the blink of an eye, like always. But as I look back through my calendar to write this recap post, I’m reminded how thankful I am. In the midst of a crazy busy schedule, I see so many blessings.
This month, I want to share 6 blessings that I see as I page through the November memories that fill my calendar. Hang out until the end to see a few pictures we snapped along the way!
1. Our time at the Showit United Conference
We spent the first few days of November in Tempe AZ for the United Conference. It was our first time at this particular conference, and it went above and beyond our expectations. Joel had our 2018 tickets secured before we boarded our flight back to Huntsville. If you want to hear more about it, you can check out our blog post here!
2. Lacie & David’s wedding
Weddings are something that always makes our hearts thankful for so many reasons.
We got to spend a whole weekend together with them as we explored Charleston and Savannah for the destination engagement session weekend. The memories we created during that time are so special, and seeing it all come together on their wedding day was pure joy.
We also got to work with some incredible vendors – which is always super fun! You can check out Lacie & David’s wedding feature on our blog here!
3. Time spent with family
We are both incredibly blessed with close-knit families. We don’t take it for granted! Our schedules can be a little crazy, so we blocked out some intentional family time this month. I spent 2 days with my sister and her family in Tennessee, and we cleared two days on our schedule to spend Thanksgiving weekend with Joel’s family.
4. New goals for our business
Spending intentional time with branding coaches, our favorite photography educators, our album company CEO, and so many other incredibly inspiring people gave us some new visions for where we want our business to go.
We’ve been hyper-focused on certain parts of our business (like creating educational content and resources), and talking with some mentors brought back a bigger vision of how to grow our business. We are really, really excited about the direction our business is going in 2018!
5. Time serving and encouraging with other creative entrepreneurs
Our vendor group annual Friendor Thanksgiving Feast at Sacred Stone and a morning volunteering at the Food Bank of North Alabama with the Huntsville chapter of Rising Tide Society’s Tuesdays Together were two of the highlights. We love taking intentional time to encourage and serve!
6. Portrait sessions
We only take on a limited number of Forever Sessions each year, so we truly cherish and enjoy each and every one! We do Forever Sessions because it fits into our belief that marriage is worth celebrating and always worth fighting for. These sessions are near and dear to our hearts!
Enjoy a little peek into some of the fun we’ve had this month.
*hugs*
