Lauren and Weston’s fall wedding at The Westin at Bridgestreet was a beautiful way to spend a fall weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect! A little windy, for sure, but the sunshine and perfect temperatures more than made up for a few gusts. I love all the architecture we get to work with at the Westin and around Bridgestreet. The carousel is a favorite backdrop of mine – so fun!
One of my favorite parts of this wedding day was the amazing way we got to incorporate part of Lauren and Weston’s story into their wedding portraits. Their first date was at Bridgestreet, spending time at Cafe 153 and The Chocolate Crocodile. Fast forward to the proposal when Weston recreated their first date, including a trip to The Choc Croc and included a sparkly diamond ring on the bench across the fountain. Not only was their wedding held at The Westin at Bridgestreet, but we also got to take a few pictures inside the chocolate store with a few of their favorite treats. A shout-out to The Chocolate Crocodile for being super amazing and celebrating alongside us!
Lauren and Weston are just so great to be around. Their love for each other and for Emma absolutely shines, and it’s beautiful to see. What an incredible day to celebrate!
The bride and groom chocolate-covered strawberries from the Chocolate Crocodile were so fun! I loved being able to bring that aspect of their story into the wedding day gallery. Yum!
I also loved the small, intimate aspect of this wedding celebration. A huge wedding definitely has its fun parts that I really enjoy, but I also think a lot of a wedding day with just close friends and family there. It’s intimate, laid-back, and you get to spend intentional time with each guest.
Lauren and Weston did something I’ve never seen before but am officially a big fan of! They had a small display of appetizers brought out to the ceremony site for the family and bridal party to enjoy during family pictures. It’s something so simple, but it’s especially wonderful for the bridal party if you haven’t done a first look. They (and you!) get a little bit to eat before heading off to finish pictures. There were some extras that I got to sample, and wow! It was super yummy! Shout out to the Westin on their appetizers.
There was so much to love and I know you’re ready to take a peek!
Lauren & Weston – thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to capture this precious wedding day for you! Every detail was so beautiful and there were so many special memories. What a joy! We wish you the very best in your new adventure together as husband and wife!
*hugs*
