Lacie & David // Historic Downtown Charleston Engagement

As if our destination engagement session to Savannah, Georgia with Lacie and David wasn’t dreamy enough (and you can check it out here!)….we did the first part of their engagement session in Charleston, South Carolina! {Yes, I did pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming…}

A couple days before Lacie and David’s “official” engagement session in Savannah, we all swung through Charleston for the weekend! We knew Saturday night in such a beautiful summer destination city would be a little busy, but it was 100% worth dodging the crowds. We always love the quiet neighborhoods the best anyway, and we had no problem finding the perfect ones!

Pretty much they were all the perfect ones.

Joel and I stopped in Charleston for a few hours on the way down to the Florida coast during our honeymoon, and we’ve always wanted to go back. Capturing the first part of Lacie and David’s engagement session was an incredible way to check off our bucket list dream of returning to Charleston!

As much as we love Charleston and all the classy historic neighborhoods that we could very happily wander around for days, the real treasure of this trip was Lacie and David. We enjoyed our time there with them so much that I’m already working to devise a way for us all to have a round 2 when it’s time for an anniversary session… ;)
