Karen & Glenn // Traditional Wedding, Country Club Reception

Karen and Glenn are one of the most adorable couples you’ll ever meet! The first time we met them in person was at their engagement session – a fun waterfront park where Glenn proposed to Karen. (See their blog feature here!) With a band stage set up in the middle of the park, we had a fabulous live soundtrack for the evening!

The love that these two have for each other just gives me all the happy feelings. Seeing them together makes everything else fade away, just for a moment. Their wedding was a perfect blend of their classic elegance and heartfelt fun! From wedding portraits on the waterfront to a toe-tapping dance party at the reception, this day was nothing short of fabulous.

The neutral color scheme Karen chose was perfectly accented by gorgeous pops of fall color – the deep reds and oranges were perfect compliments to classy tans, creams, and browns. Details like a wedding handkerchief inscribed with Proverbs 31:25, her mom’s pearl bracelet, and bouquets accented with red calla lilies were perfect touches to their wedding. Karen’s bouquet was wrapped in a bonnet she wore as a baby- a super sweet “something old”!

This first look with Karen’s dad was so precious! It had me in tears! These memories last a lifetime.

After a mini portrait session in the gardens of the church, we all headed out to Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club for a fun and classy reception! We swooned over the gorgeous waterfront location and dreamy sunset! Sunset portraits by the water were a must.

I couldn’t resist this one from the garter toss! Love this so much!! :) These people were all SO much fun to hang out with!

Glenn and Karen, words can’t even describe how happy and excited we are for you! You two bring so much joy into our lives! We can’t wait to follow you on this journey and see what adventures God takes you on next. We are so thankful to have you in the J&A Family! Lots of hugs to you both!! <3
