Indian Creek Greenway Forever Session // Huntsville Wedding Photographers
It was a gorgeous afternoon at Indian Creek Greenway! One of my favorite things about being a photographer in the south is that there’s a good chance the weather will be pleasant, even in the winter. There’s as much of a chance of 60-degree weather as there is of 30 degrees. We couldn’t have asked for a better November afternoon for this session!
Sally & Michael are always such a joy to be around! This is the second year they’ve done their Forever Session with us, and we love spending time with them. Fun fact: Michael and I used to work together at the Chocolate Crocodile years ago. We’ve mastered the art of caramel apples, and the term “Valentine’s Day” has very strong connotations of dipping thousands of chocolate covered strawberries.
Indian Creek Greenway was a perfect place for their session because of all the memories. They’re both big runners, and they’ve logged countless miles running the paths of the greenway. Sally told us about a big tree that she run by and how she often thinks “That would be a great place to go for our session”. It may have lost its leaves for the winter already, but I love that we got to make those thoughts come true! I always call these trees our “lone trees”, and they’re really fun to include in sessions!
Because of how our schedules matched up, their session on Iron Bowl weekend also meant that we pretty much had the space to ourselves. Score for us!
And get this: Sally & Michael’s dog is named Happy. How epic is that? It’s also really fun to try to get her attention. “Happy! I have a treat for you, Happy!” I find it very joyfully entertaining. She’s also so great about looking at the camera!
Enjoy a little peek into their fall Forever Session at the Greenway!
