What a gorgeous spring wedding at Huntsville Museum of Art! One of my many favorite things about downtown Huntsville in the spring is the beautiful floral blooms everywhere you turn. Hannah and Cody’s celebrated their wedding day with laid-back laughs, a reception full of amazing food, and – you guessed it – plenty of spring floral inspiration.
You’d never guess from these pictures that most of us were up half the night with tornado warnings and crazy storms. The day dawned bright and beautiful, and the active hours of the night before didn’t damper the excitement of this long-awaited day. We had sunshine and flowers galore!
Hannah and Cody are the kind of people that put everyone else before themselves, even on the day that celebrates them! We were just blown away by the thought and effort they put into making the wedding all about treating their guests to an amazing experience. They made our day so fun and such a joy to be around them! Truly genuine hearts.
Speaking of the above, I just loved the guest experience! As soon as guests walked into the ceremony space, they were treated to a coffee station, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres. And these weren’t just any hors d’oeuvres. The Church Street Family of restaurants catered the entire event, so you can imagine how delectable the evening was. A family-style dinner followed the ceremony, complete with a table of tasty treats for guests to enjoy throughout the night. We love a good food experience, and this delivered!
I loved the bridesmaid dresses! The floral design was perfect for a spring art museum wedding. It adds a layer of unique personality to the wedding day look, and Hannah couldn’t have chosen better. Noella’s did a beautiful job bringing the floral theme indoors with her beautiful creations.
Hannah and Cody added so many fun elements for their guests to enjoy! My favorites were the giant crossword puzzle and tables of board games in a quiet side room. Guests could enjoy dancing in the main reception area or playing games in a peaceful space – what a great idea!
There’s so much to love! So without further ado,
Hannah & Cody – you are a gem of a couple! Thank you for letting us capture these sweet memories and for making the entire journey so much fun. We wish you a life full of amazing adventures together as husband and wife!
*hugs*
Amber
