In every season, I feel like it is my favorite season for an engagement session. Spring, summer, fall. But I think early spring with its flowy floral blooms, newly budded trees, and the first promise of warm weather might actually be my favorite. Ask me again when the fall leaves fill my heart with their vibrant color, but for now – I’m convinced.

Allison and Aaron met us for their engagement session in downtown Huntsville’s Twickenham district. This one I will always stand on – it’s my absolute favorite engagement session location for an early spring engagement session. Golden light filtering through the early leaves. Stone walls down a tree-lined gravel path. Soft white blooms. All my spring session dreams coming true!

Of course, a great location needs a fantastic couple. We got it 100% with Allison and Aaron in front of our cameras. These two were so relaxed and graceful in front of the camera. There were a couple of times when they naturally posed themselves without even thinking about it. They make my job easy! I love their cute faces when he’s whispering in her ear and the grins on their faces when Aaron cracks a joke. They’re just fun to be around and I’m here for every minute! October is going to be exceptional.
