What a way to wave goodbye to our 2025 wedding season. Ellie and Josh’s beautiful blue and white floral December wedding at Burritt on the Mountain was everything I could have wished for. The kindest families, one of my favorite ceremony sites to date, lattes at the reception, a dance floor filled with the Auburn dance team, and a reception space to swoon over. I’m so excited to share this winter wedding on the blog!
After a frigid start to the week, the wedding day dawned into a dreamy, sunny 60-degree afternoon. God painted a blue sky backdrop for the ceremony and sprinkled in all the golden glow to end Ellie and Josh’s wedding day portraits. Literal winter weather perfection.
Ellie and Josh are so easy to love. We have the best memories from their fall sunrise engagement session in downtown Huntsville (which included a coffee shop, of course!) and have been counting down the days to celebrate alongside them! Their families are just the sweetest and made us feel so welcomed. Add in a rockstar team of vendors; I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details
How to just choose a few?! The coffee, for starters! Ellie and Josh also appreciate quality coffee, and we happily sampled some lattes from The Vine Coffee Company at the reception. That just made my night! The florals were stunning, Ellie and Josh’s custom dance floor was a step above, and Endless Catering created a really yummy meal for their guests. We always love a good evening with the Beasley brothers, and Courtney pulled everything together to do her magic.
I really loved the platform and floral display at the ceremony site. Not only did it elevate the whole feel of the ceremony, it also created some amazing bride and groom portraits afterward. I could keep listing more favorites, like Ellie’s pearl sleeves or the way Ellie bounces up and down when she’s happy, but a picture is worth a thousand words. I can’t wait to show you these.
