We’re definitely feeling the winter weather now, but it’s never too late to celebrate these memories of fall mini sessions at Huntsville Botanical Garden! This year gets the award for our most mini session dates in Joel & Amber history, and two of those dates were at the Garden. If you’ve been around for a while,  you know that we’re big Huntsville Botanical Garden fans when it comes to weddings, portrait sessions, and pretty much everything else. You can find beautiful locations any time of day and any season. After dozens (and dozens!) of Garden sessions, we’ve landed on a few top favorite locations that are just so perfect for our mini sessions. Beautiful lighting, stunning backdrop, and very easy to navigate. Even for a family with little kids wrangling their way to a photo session. Mamas, I know you’re feeling me on that!

The faces of these families are just so precious to us! I know I saw it on every mini session blog post, but it’s such a gift to photograph our J&A Couples with their growing families. Our Garden collection of families spans from a 2014 wedding all the way to a new-to-us family we just met that day. And as a bonus, we found out their kids attend the same school as Josiah and their youngest was in his after-school karate class. 

We had a blast during every one of these minis. Here’s a little peek into this year’s Huntsville Botanical Garden fall mini sessions!
