Dusty Blue and Pale Pink Summer Wedding at The Ledges // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama
Sweet summer weddings! Even better when the summer wedding is at the beautiful Ledges of Huntsville. The manicured gardens surrounding European-style stonework is a favorite of mine, and the ceremony site is just beautiful! We were blessed with some amazing cloud cover throughout the day, including some perfectly-timed shade to grace the ceremony. For an August wedding, it was the most amazing weather we could ask for!
Anna and Jonathan are so loved by their family and friends! Throughout the day, I heard testimony of the lives they’ve touched and how their kindness and loyalty is unmatched. You can see the love between these two when they’re together. It won’t take too much scrolling to see how Anna’s face lights up like the sunshine when she’s around Jonathan! These two are absolutely adorable together.
A Few of My Favorite Details
Anna and Jonathan love a good book as much as I do. The tablescapes included stacks of favorite books hidden under the flowers, which I thought was a fantastic detail to include. Several of their book club friends got together for a dance floor picture. I really liked how they wove a favorite piece of their lives into their wedding day celebration. They also wrote letters to each other to open on their first anniversary to place in a time capsule, along with other special momentoes. They placed them inside during the ceremony, which was such a cool idea.
The golden sunset at the Ledges is a favorite! I just love shooting outdoor portraits at the Ledges in general (give me that European-style stone building as a backdrop any day!), and golf course sunset portraits are spectacular. It will always be a favorite detail.
Pops of colorful florals make my heart go pitter-patter, and Bouqyard lined the grand staircase with them! The moment Anna walked down the floral-filled staircase on her way to the alter was absolutely dreamy. I mean, wait until you see that picture!
