With the glittering light of sparklers heralding Anna and Caleb off to their new married life together, we lowered our cameras and smiled.

Anna and Caleb’s winter wedding at Meadow Creek Farm marked the end of our 2019 wedding season, and we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration. There was so much to love about this couple, their families, and all the amazing little details they used to create a day that was perfectly “them”.

Wedding Day Inspiration

Anna and Caleb selected a classic greenery and white color palette with hints of blush and navy. The bridesmaids wore a beautiful shade of gray with blue undertones, which created a soft background for the blush and greenery. I loved the look Anna chose!

We welcomed the December sunshine and all the extra warmth it brought! The sunshine was matched by the absolute joy we witnessed throughout the wedding day. Anna and Caleb radiated excitement and sweetness. Their families and bridal party won us over in an instant. Everyone was so kind, fun, and bubbling with joy.

Anna and Caleb are a dynamic couple. We love them so much! They have so much strength and determination, which is coupled with kindness and generosity. It’s been a real blessing to get to know them over these past few months, and we’re so excited to cheer them on as they take on the world together!

My Favorite Wedding Details

How to choose? I finally narrowed it down to my top 2 favorite details!

I loved the Legacy Tree that decorated a corner of the reception area! It gave a nod toward the upcoming Christmas holidays, which is so fun for a December wedding. Anna and Caleb printed wedding pictures of their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents to hang on the tree. Putting that legacy of love in a tangible display was such a neat idea!

My second favorite were the custom cookie wedding favors by Batter Up Cake. The cookies themselves were absolutely adorable (and yummy!), and the tags they added were perfect.

The Dream Team

No wedding blog post would be complete without a shout out to the incredible team of vendors that brought the magic to life!

Our sweet coordinator, Cathy, worked behind the scenes to make sure things were just right! It’s always a pleasure to work with our friends at Awaken Films, and we loved meeting DJ WellDunn. The dance floor was hopping!

Dear Becky at Hartley Catering treated the guests to very yummy food (like a soup bar!), and Batter Up Cake added scrumptious cake, cupcakes, and cookies. We have only had the privilege of working with Jana Warner a few times, but her florals are always spot on! She’s so talented! Having Caleb’s dad as the officiant was extra special.
