Rhodes Ferry Park and Historic Downtown Decatur Engagement Session // Wedding Photographers in Decatur, Alabama

We met Kristen and Miles at Rhodes Ferry Park for their engagement session last week, and it was incredibly wonderful for two reasons!

First, we were just so excited to see them again! We really hit it off with Kristen and Miles at our very first coffee date. They’re genuine, down to earth, kind, and make us smile! They had us totally smitten after they asked Joel why Philippians 2:14-15 is one of his favorite Bible verses. (See the Meet Us Page on our website if you’re curious!)

Second, our excitement came from many of the covid19 restrictions being lifted! Shooting an engagement session after several quiet weeks brought endless joy to our hearts.

We started our session at a cute little park by the river in Decatur. The water in the background adds a serene touch to the picturesque gazebo, hedges of spring flowers, and the most goooorgeous light filtering through the trees.

After a quick outfit change, we headed just a few blocks over to the edge of historic downtown Decatur. What a cute little spot!! We don’t head over to downtown Decatur as often as we do downtown Huntsville, and it was like having a whole new playground! Kristen and Miles so sweetly followed us around from one little spot to the other as our eyes delightedly landed on yet another perfect little spot.

We had the best time, and we can’t wait for November to come to celebrate these two getting married!
