It’s rare for us to have a double-header wedding weekend in this season of life (looking at you, kids), but it was an easy “yes!” when Malkah and Ethan reached out about photographing their wedding ceremony. Malkah works for one of our favorite local ministries and (bonus!) was connected to us by the mom of two of our other J&A Couples. Once I had a chance to meet with Malkah and get to know her a little bit, it sealed the deal. Double header, here we come!
We arrived as things were getting prepared for the ceremony to begin. I grabbed a few getting ready candids and reception details while everyone was finishing up the last details, then headed off to get this sweet girl married! The ceremony itself was relaxed and unrushed. Several hymns sung together and a prayer with parents gave it a traditional and sacred feel. And the joy on their faces as each moment was experienced was something special.
After the ceremony and family portraits, we got a few bridal party portraits before ending with some relaxed time with the bride and groom for their formal portraits. Downtown Huntsville is one of our favorite locations for sessions, and we had some great little spots within a few steps of the church. We waved goodbye as they headed off to celebrate at their reception and start their new lives together.
Malkah & Ethan – thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to capture the memories of your wedding ceremony and portraits! We know it was a really special moment for you both, and it was a joy to witness. We wish you both the best in your new lives together as husband and wife!
*hugs*
