Fall Wedding at Casey Acres at Chigger Ridge Farm and Christ Presbyterian Church
Caroline, Cole, Casey Acres at Chigger Ridge, and Christ Presbyterian Church. A bunch of C’s and so much to love!! Photographing a wedding at a new venue is always exciting. While we truly love our usual rotation of Huntsville wedding venues, creating something entirely new in a unique space sparks an extra burst of fun for us. I loved the wide open spaces, rolling hills, balcony views, and a spot of natural light in the bridal suite.
And, of course, Caroline and Cole are a reason to celebrate! I loved their laid-back, welcoming, southern friendliness vibe. They’re super cute together and so fun to have in front of the camera! It’s always a gift to have couples that trust our vision and direction throughout the day. If you’re here from the Miles side of the family, you’ll know that we all just got to celebrate alongside Gannon and Savannah for their Huntsville Botanical Garden wedding. Switching couples as bride/groom and bridal party was so fun, plus seeing so many familiar faces! (Peep Joel with his two 6’10” buddies at the reception.) It was just so special and such a gift to be part of these back-to-back celebrations with people we truly enjoy.
A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details
Caroline’s dusty blue cowgirl boots completely fit the vibe at Casey Acres and made reception dancing comfortable and classy. I love a good personal touch for a bride’s wedding ensemble! Caroline’s bracelet stacks also made a really pretty complement to the clean lines of her dress.
Caroline and Cole had a live artist to create silhouettes of guests at the wedding. One of the BEST wedding favors ever!! Kathryn was super sweet and I wanted to give her a shout out. I’m a big fan of having a live artist at the wedding, and this was a really fun twist.
An entire dance floor of cowboy hats, haha! It gives the pictures (and memories) a burst of flavor and matched the wooden barn/country theme that flowed through the space.
And that golden sun setting over an open field with mountains in the background. So. Good.
