Start and End with I Love You {Building Marriage}

A Mocha For Your Tuesday

Jan 31, 2017

I’ve loved quotes for as long as I can remember. They were doodled on my Lisa Frank notebooks and taped on my Space Makers. (Who remembers those?!) One of my favorite quotes as a teenager:

“Do not have your concert first, and then tune your instruments afterward. Start your day…with God.”

~James Hudson Taylor

Even now, I see the benefit of not only focusing my day by starting my morning in the Word but also spending a few minutes in prayer before I go to sleep.

What about your marriage?

What if the first thing your husband heard in the morning was, “I love you!” and the last thing he heard before falling asleep was, “I am so proud of you! I love you.”

What if his first and last experience of every day is hearing how much you love him and appreciate what he does for you? How could that impact your marriage in a very powerful way?

This week, I encourage you to try it!

*hugs*
