Every year when my Best of Huntsville Wedding Inspiration blog post rolls around, I’m amazed at how a year whizzes by so quickly. We’ve been photographing weddings in Huntsville for 14 years now – how has it been that long?! I’m definitely not that old, am I? In those years, we’ve photographed almost 300 weddings, as many engagement sessions, and countless family portrait sessions as our couples have come back for portraits with their beautiful families. Writing this right now, memories of so many of these wedding days and our couples come flooding back. It’s been a good ride. God has blessed us greatly in what we do. I hope I always have a truly thankful heart for His gifts. I can’t wait to see what the next 14 years will hold!

This post is always such a meaningful one to put together. It’s a labor of love that involves scrolling through thousands upon thousands of images from the past year. It takes a lot of time, but it’s an absolutely beautiful experience. Every picture brings back a memory of the exact moment. Long after the wedding day is over, these slivers of time deserve to be remembered, shared, and celebrated.
Making Sure These Memories Are Here To Stay
Looking back through full galleries is such a reminder of why photographs matter so much. Time passes quickly, and it’s easy to forget the small, in-between moments—the nervous excitement, the quiet tears, the spontaneous laughter. Pictures have a way of preserving it all.
And narrowing them down? That part is never easy. Every single wedding could have its own “Best Of” post. (Which it essentially does! Choosing what made the final cut was tough, but this {long} blog post is packed with beautiful memories for our past couples and endless wedding inspiration for our future brides and grooms.
Portraits of our brides and grooms will always be some of our favorite images from the wedding day, and many of these selections came from those moments alone together. Other images stood out because of the emotion tied to them or a special detail that made the moment unforgettable. From mom adjusting the veil before a First Look with dad all the way to grandma smiling at those energetic younguns on the dance floor, this collection tells the story of many joyful, emotional, deeply felt moments in time. Revisiting these memories was such a joy for me, and I hope you love them just as much.
