Fall Engagement Proposal at Big Spring Park // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama

There are a few iconic proposal spots around Huntsville, and this is a downtown favorite! We met Gannon at Big Spring Park a few days prior to connect and plan out the details of his proposal to Savannah. The classic rock wall is a perfect proposal spot for many reasons. First off, it’s just a beautiful spot that’s classic Huntsville. I love a clean backdrop that eliminates distractions and doesn’t distract from the moment! It brings together urban park vibes with a splash of nature.

After weeks (months?) of not a drop of rain, proposal day arrived with some percentage of rain in every hour of the forecast. Overcast or drizzle, Gannon decided to roll with it and stick with Plan A. I’m so glad he did! Despite a little splash here and there, the exact moment of Gannon’s proposal worked out just fine. And let me tell you, I am so excited for these two and their new lives together. Even in the short time we got to spend with them, it’s so easy to see that Gannon and Savannah are two of the the sweetest, kindest people. They love the Lord, and their hearts just shine! They’re going to make a beautiful team.
