Twenty-six mini sessions later, I’m sharing the final beautiful series of this year’s fall family portrait sessions. How fitting to be at Huntsville Botanical Garden! It’s one of our favorite local wedding venues, and we’re there so much it feels like home with our cameras. Having several of our J&A Couples and their growing families join us in a favorite spot for updated family portraits was super special! The weather, once again, was perfection. I don’t remember there ever being a fall with perfect weather for an entire season of weddings and mini sessions!
Family mini sessions are about more than just getting an updated Christmas card family picture. They’re about capturing memories and connections that continually change as time goes on. Every smile, every tickle, every slow stroll down the sidewalk while looking at each other (iykyk) is a reminder of what truly matters. The little chubby cheeks will thin out into the playful grin of a 6 year old before you know it. Babies smiling in slightly confused amusement at everyone singing Wheels on the Bus will be playing Red Light, Green Light next year with the big kids. You’re never too old for a mama hug, but this year, those chubby cheeks still need kissing and those tiny little smiles need photographing before they’re gone.
Wrapping up this fall season with family mini sessions fills us with gratitude and excitement for what we have the privilege to do. From engagements and weddings to fall family portraits, we’re so thankful for every family who lets us be part of their story! You all are a gift and we are so blessed!
*hugs*
