Downtown Huntsville is such an iconic spot for an engagement session. It’s a favorite session location of ours, and we’ll never get tired of it! Every season brings it own unique nuances and beauty. I love how Emily and Blake’s mid-September session has all the vibes of late summer, but you can see tones of fall starting to peek out! A few brown and orange leaves on the ground, some warm tinges mixed in the greenery, and that promising hint of cooler days waiting around the corner. It was still toasty warm for us this day, but the little speck of coolness in the wind was doing its best!

Emily and Blake are absolutely adorable together, and it was such an honor to capture these pictures for them. They both work for a local nonprofit that focuses on recovery, and I definitely had some fan girl moments when Emily and I were talking about their work and how they met. We have a heart for local faith-based organizations who are in the trenches, the hands and feet in our community. I’m so thankful for people like them who pour their lives into helping others in the hard places! Emily and Blake have a beautiful love story and are perfect together.

Of course, there was nothing hard about this session. The camera loved Emily and Blake as much as we do! Twirling, squeezing, and laughing our way through downtown; it was so fun. Their wedding early next spring is going to be spectacular, and we can’t wait!
