The Joel and Amber Blog Celebrates!

Last week, the Joel and Amber Blog turned one! It’s hard to believe that a year ago we were dreaming of starting our own weekly blog. I still remember sitting down to write my very first blog post. (Want to check out Joel’s? Click here!) It was just a simple “about me” post, but the impact I felt was unforgettable! We were achieving a dream. A dream of taking a first step toward bringing our photography business to another level.

The rewards have been worth every post. Seeing our couples and families get so excited when their wedding is featured, hearing how a Tidbit helped them in ways that even we never anticipated…everything is a sweet story for us to cherish.

Our goal is not only to share some of the beautiful weddings and sweet engagement sessions that we’re privileged to be a part of and share a little bit about the faces behind Joel and Amber Photography, but also to give helpful advice to our brides and grooms!

We have a section we call our “Tidbits”. This is where we share all kinds of fun topics and relevant information to help make your engagement and wedding beautiful and just a little simpler! From How To Cut A Wedding Cake – Bride Style and What To Wear To An Engagement Session to How To Get In The Best Shape Of Your Life and Why We Love The First Look and so many more! We look for topics and questions that our brides often come across and share some of our ideas and advice with you!

We also love featuring some of our favorite engagement sessions and weddings! These couples are simply amazing and deserve to be shown off to the world! From Austin and Jillian’s southern-inspired wedding, Kyle and Heidi’s beautiful springtime wedding, and Austin and Erica’s adorable country wedding, to David and Cierra’s gorgeous fall complete-with-hot-chocolate engagement session and Eric and Lauren’s sweet summertime engagement session that included the ever-delicious Piper and Leaf tea, we hope that these images bring a smile to your face, as they do to ours.

Our blog also gives you a peek into our incredibly blessed life! Travel to Europe with us as we discover that Not All Who Wander Are Lost, laugh with our favorite Kid Snippets, and see what some of The Most Meaningful Moments are to us.
