Something new is joining the Joel & Amber Photography world! We’re really excited to introduce our brand new Intimate Wedding Photography Package! We thoughtfully designed this for the bride who dreams of a luxury photography experience for her intimate wedding.

For the last several years, we’ve only offered full 8-10 hour wedding day packages. This was exactly what our brides needed for their ultimate wedding celebration! From styled bridal details in the morning to dancing for hours with the people they love best, the wedding day was full and delightful.

Then our world changed. We went from hugging friends on a packed dance floor to smiling behind our masks from 6 feet away. Brides have the make incredibly hard decisions about what their wedding day will look like in this new and {hopefully} temporary era we’re living in.

Postpone? Elope? Get married now and celebrate later?

We sincerely hope that someday the wedding world will return to what it once was. Surrounded by people, all the hugs, and a packed dance floor. But until that, brides are finding themselves making new decisions.

We’ve had many brides come to us asking if it was possible to have us photograph a wedding on a smaller scale. With so many unexpected changes going on for these sweet brides, we wanted to help by accommodating their needs. We created a la carte customized collections for them and really got to experience the beauty of an intimate ceremony.

So We’re Making It Official

That really got us thinking about what brides might need in the future. Even with restrictions slowly lifting, I think there’s going to be many brides who choose an intimate wedding for all kinds of reasons. Maybe they simply love the idea of a smaller wedding celebration or perhaps they have many out of town guests who prefer not to travel in this situation.

Whatever the reason, we see a growing trend of brides who are planning a much smaller wedding, yet still value the luxury and experience that a full blown celebration typically brings.

With 3 hours of coverage, it’s perfect for a few pre-ceremony details, an intimate ceremony, family formals, and bride & groom portraits. It’s still fully customizable, so adding on a cocktail hour is super easy!

Having a small, intimate wedding doesn’t mean you give up all the perks, benefits, and extra little touches! What bride doesn’t love a little pampering along the way? We built our photography business on creating an amazing experience for our couples.
