My Instagram post summed it up: “Reason #2,648 we love downtown Huntsville engagement sessions: it has absolutely every option we could ever wish for! Urban chic, marble pillars, historic homes, open green spaces, tree-lined streets, and these magical little secret garden kind of nooks.”

And that comes in really handy when your engagement session happens to land exactly at the same time as one of Huntsville’s parades! To leave the crowds behind, we checked out of the downtown square. After spending some time enjoying the classic green space of Big Spring Park, we stopped in the historic Twickenham district for romantic sunset portraits.

I have to say, that Twickenham district has my heart! The more we shoot there, the more I’m amazed at its beauty! Towering magnolia trees, picturesque alleyways, stone hedges, and white porch columns remind me why I love living in the south.

Magan and Griffin rocked everything about their session!! They gave us their full trust to find out-of-the-way spots for us to use. Their outfits were gorgeous and so classy. Their sweet spirits made their smiles absolutely shine! They’re the kind of people who make you feel so happy inside. Everything about them radiates how kind and thoughtful they are.

Their session was magical, and we can’t wait to share!
