Dad, you taught us to be strong.

You show us what it means to lead a family. To be a protector and provider. Mom might be the glue that holds us together with all her nurturing ways, but we’d be nowhere without your rock to stand on.

I think back to the song we danced to during our very own Father/Daughter wedding dance. I looked up and saw the tears in your eyes. Your eyes were brimming with all the love I’ve felt radiating from your life.

Thank you for showing us that everything will always turn out okay. For working so hard to give us a beautiful life. For being the papa bear that would give everything to protect us.

There is no one in the world who can take your spot. No matter where life takes us, daddy’s little girl we’ll always be.
