Courtney & Chris // Mist Blue & Cream Wedding, Valley Hill Country Club Reception

Courtney and Chris’ love story meanders its way back to high school. Oh, those glorious and memorable years of high school! With neighboring lockers, Chris couldn’t help but notice the blonde beauty with a kind and vivid personality.

After a few unsuccessful attempts to convince Courtney to go out with him (11 to be exact), Chris decided to take dramatic measures. He told Courtney to be ready because he was coming to pick her up. To Carrabba’s they went, and the rest is beautiful history.

I love this story so much because it has so much heart and soul! Chris is a valiant man who fights for our country and fights for the one he loves. What better things to stand for than freedom and love?

And you can’t forget about Courtney! She is strong and courageous herself. She embraces life and knows how to follow her heart and her dreams. She loves well and loves completely. Chris saw straight into her beautiful soul and knew that the treasure needed to be his! Through Chris’ deployment and all the adventures life brought their way, they held on tight and remembered that what they have is worth fighting for.

Courtney and Chris’ February wedding day was crisp and bright. Their mist blue, cream, and sterling navy and silver color palette set the backdrop for all the joy in store for this day. From Salt + Paperie’s dreamy invitation suite to Metropolitan DJ’s skill for getting the party started, Courtney and Chris’ day was filled with love from every side.

One of the things that I’ll never forget about this wedding day was the genuine love that this family has for each other. Memories of Courtney doing her grandma Hedy’s hair, Courtney’s mom joining in on the Father/Daughter First Look, her brother Chase’s epic speech at the reception (it had me in tears), and so many more are such beautiful drops of happiness.

Courtney and Chris, thank you for letting us be there to watch the love you have for each other and your families overflow for one another! You guys have so much joy to share. We love you!
