Caroline and Ryan’s wedding day was just as dreamy as my fairytale-loving heart could wish for! From the perfect princess dress all the way to a stroll through the park into the sunset, this wedding makes my heart do a happy dance.
The day started with some of the sweetest details! Caroline carried a Bible given to her as a baby by her grandmother – and there was a framed picture of baby Caroline holding that exact same Bible to go along with it! Pair that with a gorgeous bouquet from Bishop’s Flowers and a dreamy church foyer filled with natural light – you have one happy photographer right here!
You know when you look over and your bride is resting on the floor after giving her little flower girls a great big hug….and she looks like a fairy princess that just floated down from fairyland? It was that kind of day. Beautiful in-between moments, heartfelt laughter, adoring looks. Ever since these two made the trip up to Huntsville for their engagement session, we’ve been counting down the days right along with them!
Not only was the church itself absolutely beautiful – the Huntsville Art Museum couldn’t have been a more perfect reception location! We’re smitten with that space! One of our all-time favorite caterers (I’m looking at you, The Chef Next Door!) paired their delightful offerings with Nikki Mason’s scrumptious cake and Hamley Bake Shoppe’s famous sugar cookies. Add some Juice music and the most beautiful sunset painting its colors over the park downtown, and you have magic.
Not to mention some of the guests were wearing kilts!! I don’t know how it happens that we end up at so many weddings involving kilts, but our Scotland-loving hearts are thrilled about that random fact! :)
